Nance, how fascinating to me that both of these individual images, almost produce the same feeling; a state approaching bliss: The bird image, cool colors, quiet, serene. The second image, more pattern, color swirling, the hand almost looking like it has mendhi decorations, yet the Buddha placed firmly in the center of the hand...calm, as if to say, in the motion of the day, be present to the moment.
both were created in the "presence of the moment" marti... it was a kind of peace that comes when one is so engaged in the now of things.
nance, you can certainly feel the presence of the moment in this piece. the joy is lingering in my moments even still from having seen it. thank you!

well grace... i have published the last post to try to explain... it just love the process as it is molten when it goes on and then immediately sets up...its a process of melting and hardening back and forth... and i love the ethereal look it gives. like working with silk organza that is liquid if that makes sense.
